Kudermetova and Mertens reached the final of the WTA Finals in doubles
Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova, paired with Belgian Elise Mertens, was able to get into the final of the WTA Final Tournament – 2022 in doubles.
In the semi-final match, the athletes beat a pair of Demi Schurs/Desiree Krawczyk (Netherlands/USA), who was seeded at the tournament under the 8th number. The meeting lasted 56 minutes and ended with the score 6:1, 6:1.
For the title of champions of the tournament, Kudermetova and Mertens (4th seed) will compete with the Czech duet Barbora Kreychikov – Katerzhina Sinyakova, who are the first rackets of the tournament. The game will take place on November 8th.
