Kasatkina retained eighth place in the WTA ranking after the final tournament

Russian Daria Kasatkina remained on the eighth line in the ranking of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), the new version of which is published on the organization’s website.

At the final WTA tournament, which was held in the United States, Kasatkina could not overcome the group stage. The Russian tennis player was defeated by the Pole Iga Schwentek in straight sets, defeated the American Corey Gauff and lost to the Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia.

The winner of the tournament, Garcia, moved up from sixth to fourth place, the finalist, Arina Sobolenko from Belarus, from seventh to fifth. Russian Veronika Kudermetova remains in ninth place.
