Ukrainian tennis player successfully started the tournament in Chile
Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl (WTA 138) won against the Spanish tennis player in the 1/16 final of the WTA 125 series clay tournament in Colina (Chile) Roses Vicens Mas (WTA 221) in two sets of 1 hour 58 minutes.

Note that in the second game Katerina lost with a score of 1:4, but managed to win 5 games in a row and closed the game.
In the 1/8 finals of the tournament, Bindl will face Tamara Zidansek (Slovenia, WTA 87), the fourth seed team of the tournament. The match will be played on November 9.
Note that previously Katerina Beindl played in the final of 100,000 in Spain, losing to Italian tennis player Jasmine Paolini.
