The draw of Greece in the United Cup
The draw for the newly formed United Cup took place with Greece topping the seeding list thanks to Tsitsipas and Sakkaris.
The draw took place on Thursday night (October 11th). newly founded United Cup, in which Greece will also take part.
The Greek team consists of Stefanos Tsitsipas, Maria Sakkari, Mahalis Pervolarakis, Despina Papamichail, Stefanos Sakellaridis, Valentini Grammatikopoulou and in doubles will be Petros Tsitsipas and Sappho Sakellaridis.
The teams have been divided into six groups of three teams and the top teams in each group advance to the next round. Each preliminary round consists of two men’s matches, two women’s matches and one mixed doubles match.
The first and fifth groups take place in Perth, the second and sixth in Brisbane, while the third and fourth take place in Sydney.
