Federer’s blond hair and apotheosis of Tim
TennisTV remembered Roger Federer’s blond hair in 1999 at the tournament in Rotterdam and Tim admired the Swiss for this choice.
Some things we did when we were younger we see later and laugh. That’s what happened to Roger Federer too, when Tennis TV reminded him of the blond strands he had in his hair when he took his first steps.
The legendary Swiss was invited to comment on a video from the 1999 Rotterdam tournament and talk about his memories of the event. In fact, one of the things he pointed out was his blonde hair.
“At the time I was trying to go on tour. I wasn’t a top 100 player yet and I had blond hair.” said Federer, among others.
However, as you will see in the comments of the relevant post, Dominic Tim takes a different view than the others because, as he wrote, he characteristically loved the Swiss blonde hair. Let’s not forget that he also appeared with a similar hairstyle.
