Hardly. Djokovic gets visa and plays at Australian Open

21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will play Australian Open.

It has been reported that Novak will receive a visa and may take part in the first major tournament of the season.

Australian Immigration Minister Andrew Giles will lift the entry ban. To do this, the minister must ensure that there are compelling conditions that allow a person whose visa has been revoked to return.

Note that Djokovic is automatically banned from entering after his visa is revoked. The former government officially recognized it as a threat to public safety as it could provoke anti-vaccine sentiment.

Novak has not been vaccinated against coronavirus. Because of this, he was ultimately not allowed to participate in the 2022 Australian Open.

Novak spent the whole season trying to prove his claim and did everything he could to make it to the tournament in 2023.
