Two-time winner of the Grand Slam tournaments, Russian Evgeny Kafelnikov commented on the defeat of Daniil Medvedev in the match against Serbian Novak Djokovic at the ATP Finals.
– I do not have an unambiguous understanding of why Medvedev failed to apply for the match twice. Defeat is an unhealthy trend. Perhaps the problem is in psychology.
Not strong enough for the end of the season? All players are equal. It makes no sense to say that something was not enough for someone, – quotes the words of Kafelnikov “Championship”.
Medvedev himself noted that he lacked motivation in the match against Djokovic.
Medvedev lost all three matches and left the tournament.
