“Rublev is faster and more powerful than Ruud” – Anna Dmitrieva

18-time USSR tennis champion, commentator Anna Dmitrieva believes that the main advantages of the Russian Andrei Rublev over the Norwegian Kasper Ruud in the semifinal match of the ATP Final Tournament are speed and power.
Rublev reached the semi-finals of the Final Tournament for the first time in his career.
– Before that, it always seemed that it was very difficult for Rublev to fight with players from the top three or five – there is not enough reliability, endurance, stability and technical methods, which we have talked about many times. But now he can hope for more. Rublev and Ruud play in approximately the same style, but Andrei is faster and more powerful than the Norwegian. If he shows the accuracy that Ruud usually shows, then everything will be in order, ”Championship” quotes Dmitrieva.
The first finalist of the tournament earlier on Saturday was Serb Novak Djokovic, who defeated American Taylor Fritz.
