Tsitsipas on Rublev: ‘I was the best, he won with the few tools he has’
Stefanos Tsitsipas lashed out at Rublev after the loss as he believed he was the best and could win with the few tools he had in his game.
Stefanos Tsitsipas said immediately after the Rublev defeat that he felt he was playing better and being more involved with the ball. At the same time, the Greek champion and world No. 3 said, among other things, that he had few tools to deal with him.
“I felt like I was the best player out there, that I could do more things with the ball and be more creative. I don’t even need to say that, I think it was clear.
