A PHOTO. Stakhovsky accompanied retirement at ATP Finals
Famous Ukrainian tennis player Sergei Stakhovsky announced his retirement on January 13 this year. Yesterday, during the Final ATP tournament in Turin, a solemn ceremony was held in which Stakhovsky said goodbye to tennis:
“I did not dream of ending my career like this. But the new realities forced us all – the Ukrainians – to unite and do our best for our victory.
Turin was Ukrainian today in the last ATP tournament. I thank the Ukrainian National Guard Command for giving me the opportunity to be here. Thanks to all Ukrainians for your courage. Honor to Ukraine. Bless the nation.”
