“He touched my breasts, my hips.” The leader of Polish tennis is in big trouble
President of the Polish Tennis Federation Miroslav Skshipchinski He decided to resign after multiple charges were brought against him for rape and abuse of minors.
Initially, anonymous messages began appearing in the media addressed to the president of the Polish federation, but he denied them. But then Katarzyna Kotula, a deputy from Poland, made a public speech. She stated that Skrzypczynski abused her when she was 13:
“He touched my genitals, my breasts, my hips,” Notes from Poland said.
Another girl spoke out against the President of the Polish Federation. Following these statements, Poland’s first rackets, Iga Swiatek and Hubert Hurkacz, called for an investigation into Skrzypczynski.
A day later, the board of the Polish Tennis Association held a meeting, after which Skshipczynski’s immediate resignation application was accepted. It was reported that the resignation of the board of directors of the association was accepted unanimously.
It has been announced that the new president of the Polish Tennis Federation is Dariusz Lukaszewski, who previously served as Skshipczynski’s assistant.

Four Ukrainian tennis players were included in the doubles entry list Australian Open 2025.
Ukrainian women will play in the doubles tournament on the courts of Melbourne: Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya, Lyudmila Kichenok and Nadezhda Kichenok. Unfortunately, there will be no all-Ukrainian tandem in Australia.
Kostyuk will perform alongside Elena-Gabriela Ruse at the Aus Open, and Yastremskaya will play alongside Alisha Parks.
Lyudmila and Nadezhda will not play together at AO-2026, although they will start the season with the same duet in the Brisbane 500 meters. It was announced that Lyudmila will be with Katie Volynets, and Nadezhda will be with Makoto Ninomiya.
Australian Open 2026 will take place from January 12 to February 1. Elina Svitolina, Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya and Alexandra Oleynikova will represent Ukraine in singles. Yulia Starodubtseva, Angelina Kalinina, Daria Snigur and Vitaly Sachko will perform in the eliminations.

Russian Karen Khachanov moved from 18th to 17th place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.
