The legendary tournament is back. Hopman Cup to be held in 2023
The International Tennis Federation and Tennium have signed a contract to host. Hopman Cup for the next five years. In 2023, the tournament will be held from 19 to 23 July (one week after Wimbledon) at the Nice Lawn Tennis Club in Nice.
The Hopman Cup is a mixed doubles (tennis and tennis player from the same country) teams held during the first match week of the season in Perth, Australia, since 1989. The last draw of the tournament was held in 2019.
It is reported that six countries will participate in the competition in 2023 and 2024, and from 2025 the roster will be expanded to eight teams. France will host the tournament every year.
Note that a mixed-team United Cup tournament will be held in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney early next year.
