Legendary Swiss tennis player Roger Federer Argentine star congratulated the football player Lionel Messi With the 2022 FIFA World Cup victory held in Qatar:
“A great moment for Argentina. You, Lionel Messi, have proven time and time again what greatness is. It is a great honor for me to watch you. Congratulations Leo! A special and historic moment.”
The 2022 FIFA World Cup final was played on Sunday, December 18, between the national teams of Argentina and France, in Qatar. The main time of the match ended with the score 2:2. Teams scored one goal each in extra time. As a result, the Argentines were more accurate in the penalty shootout – 4:2.
Note that Roger Federer retires in 2022. He played his last match in the Laver Cup.
