PHOTOGRAPH. The presentation of the United Cup trophy took place
From 29 December 2022 to 8 January 2023, the United Cup team tennis tournament will be held in Australia.
The presentation ceremony of the main prize of the United Cup took place in Perth.
The 50 cm high United Cup is made of 24-carat silver plated silver and consists of 36 bars, each handcrafted, representing the 18 countries participating in the mixed pairs. The path the sticks take from the bottom of the bowl to the rim is similar to the movement of a tennis ball and how the ball can change speed and direction. It took more than 400 man-hours to create this masterpiece.
The designers of this trophy had previously created trophies for the Laver Cup, FA Football Cup and Rugby World Cup.
Note that the competition will be held in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney.
