Novak Djokovic is set to return to the Australian Open almost a year after his visa cancellation adventure

The world number 5 arrived in the land of kangaroos on Tuesday (December 27) and at the same time completed his first training session before the Australian Open, which will take place from January 16 to 29.

The tournament’s official Twitter account published pictures of the Serb enjoying a relaxed workout.

In fact, Australian Open Director Greg Tiley said: “I think he will be the player to win (the tournament) again. I have faith in the Australian public. I think we’re a sports-savvy public, particularly those who watch tennis.

They love tennis, they love greatness, they love watching great sports and great games. So I’m pretty sure the fans will react in the way we hope and show respect.”
