Formula 1, football and basketball are just some of the sports that have seen huge success with the Netflix camera focused on them.

No stranger to drama on and off the court, tennis is expecting a similar surge in popularity after ATP and WTA seasons 2022 will be filmed for the new Break Point series.

From the creators of Drive to SurviveBreak Point is meant to be a staple series for all sports fans, and The Sporting News explains when you can catch all the action.

When does Break Point premiere on Netflix? The new tennis documentary series

  • Episodes 1-5: Friday January 13, 2023
  • Episodes 6-10: June 2023

Break Point will be released worldwide on Friday, January 13, 2023.

Netflix has yet to confirm a specific premiere time, and there’s a chance that the actual release date will actually be January 14th in some regions.

The first five episodes of Break Point’s first season will premiere at launch and the final five episodes in June.

What will the Break Point episodes be about?

One of the main reasons for these two release dates is the fact that Break Point episodes will cover different tennis tournaments and Netflix will attempt to release said episodes prior to these championships taking place.

It is expected that the first two episodes of Break Point cover the 2022 Australian Openstarring Nick Kyrgios, Thanasis Kokkinakis, Matteo Berretini and Ayla Tomljanovic.

Kyrgios himself shared in a tweet that he will star in the first episode.

The show’s January 13 premiere date means these episodes will premiere shortly before the start of the 2023 Australian Open.

The second batch of episodes will likely focus on Wimbledon and the US Openin turn reawakening viewers’ curiosity about both contests.

Although Break Point will focus on what happens on the track, it will also shed a lot of light on what happens off the track.

Will there be a second season of Break Point?

In the absence of broadcast of the first season, It is not yet known if a second season of Break Point is in the works.

The equivalent of F1, Drive to Survive premiered its fourth season in 2022 and it is very likely that Break Point also enjoys a similar lifespan if well received. among the spectators.

On Monday, December 29, the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) last updated the rating in 2025.

As in principle, there have been no significant changes since the end of the Final Tournament in November.
