United Cup: what the future holds for the Greek team
The Greek team has managed to advance to the next stage of the United Cup and is now waiting to find out their opponent in the group finals in Perth. What happens next?

But that is not the end of the Greek team’s work in the newly founded organization. If she succeeds and overcomes the obstacle that will stand in her way on Wednesday (April 1st), she will qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.
There will be the three teams emerging from the city finals (Brisbane, Perth and Sydney) and the best runners-up from the six groups.
The semi-finals will take place from January 6th to 7th, while the final of the tournament is scheduled for Sunday (01/08).

Four Ukrainian tennis players were included in the doubles entry list Australian Open 2025.
Ukrainian women will play in the doubles tournament on the courts of Melbourne: Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya, Lyudmila Kichenok and Nadezhda Kichenok. Unfortunately, there will be no all-Ukrainian tandem in Australia.
Kostyuk will perform alongside Elena-Gabriela Ruse at the Aus Open, and Yastremskaya will play alongside Alisha Parks.
Lyudmila and Nadezhda will not play together at AO-2026, although they will start the season with the same duet in the Brisbane 500 meters. It was announced that Lyudmila will be with Katie Volynets, and Nadezhda will be with Makoto Ninomiya.
Australian Open 2026 will take place from January 12 to February 1. Elina Svitolina, Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya and Alexandra Oleynikova will represent Ukraine in singles. Yulia Starodubtseva, Angelina Kalinina, Daria Snigur and Vitaly Sachko will perform in the eliminations.
