The Greek team is in the semi-finals of the United Cup after their victory Maria Sakkaris and Stefanos Tsitsipas against Martic and Goyo.

Immediately after the end of the game, the Greek duo spoke from the pitch about their magnificent victory, but also about the overall presence of the Greek team.

For his part, Stefanos Tsitsipas referred to the atmosphere created by the friends of the two teams: “We had to face a strong team. I want to congratulate them because they gave their all today. The foundation was laid by our Hopman Cup games. It’s a great night and the crowd here created a great atmosphere. Greeks and Croatians came here and gave everything”.

Maria Sakkari was also in the eyes of the Greek fans: “The Australian Open is our Grand Slam and every tournament in Australia feels like home. Regarding the games with Italy, Stefanos Tsitsipas said: “We are already preparing, spiritually we are already there. I’m proud of the team, we are fighters.
