Big loss for tennis. The world’s first racket will not play at the Aus Open
The world’s first racket carlos alcaraz (Spain) will not play in the Australian Series Main Event Australian Open 2023.
The 19-year-old Spaniard injured his right leg during training. He announced this on his Twitter account:
“At the height of the pre-season, I accidentally injured the semimembranosus muscle of my right leg, this time with a move, during training. I worked hard to prove myself at the highest level in Australia. Unfortunately I won’t be able to play at Care A2 + Kooyong or the Australian Open. This is a difficult time, but I have to be optimistic, heal and look ahead. See you in 2024.”
Note that the first calendar tournament of the Grand Slam Australian Open series will run from January 16-29.
Care A2+ Kooyong is absent from Abierto Australia. A moment to look forward to for optimism, healing and recovery. Nos vemos en 2024 @Australia Open ❤️
