Tsitsipas – Sakkari: The significant amount they have already secured from the United Cup

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari have already secured a substantial sum of money by participating in the United Cup.

The Greek team are in the United Cup semi-finals and are on an excellent run with Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari making impressive displays.

This particular event may be newly established and may not have the glamor of others, but it offers significant cash prizes and points to participating athletes.

A total of around 14.1 million euros will be distributed to all athletes, divided equally between men and women.

They have already secured the money

Let’s see how much Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari have secured so far, but also how far they can go.

First of all, let’s emphasize that the top athletes receive a participation bonus according to their position in the world rankings. The Greek duo will take off as both are in the top ten 188,626 euros.

In addition, there are both single and total win bonuses that are distributed to players. Tsitsipas and Sakkaris will be paid around €72,000 in total for their wins in the group, while their goals in the Perth final against Croatia will earn around another one 65 thousand euros.

Simultaneously with their participation in doubles, they receive around 13,000 euros for the two group wins and another 12,000 for their win against Croatia.

But the money doesn’t stop there as they will also come for the Greek team’s wins. Specifically, they will receive a total of around 9,000 euros for the two victories in the group and a further 7,500 for winning the city final. When you’ve stopped countingall this makes us whole 369,304 euros.

The amount they can get from now on

However, as of now, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari can skyrocket their earnings as the prize money increases significantly.

As you can see in particular from the table below, from now on every win will be well paid. If the two continue with wins and the Greek team takes the path, they can add almost €800,000 in total.

Indeed, if they reach the end of the journey undefeated in both singles and doubles, then they can achieve that 833,146 euros.
