Russian Daria Kasatkina defeated Czech Petra Kvitova in the ¼ final of the tournament in Adelaide, Australia.
The match lasted 1 hour 34 minutes and ended with the score 6:3, 7:6 (7:3). Kasatkina beat Kvitova for the first time in her career.
