Daria Kasatkina without a fight became the finalist of the tournament in Adelaide, Australia.
The rival of the Russian tennis player in the semi-finals was the Spaniard Paula Badosa. However, the latter did not enter the match, citing a thigh injury she suffered in the previous match.
In the final of the tournament, Kasatkina will play with the winner of the pair Belinda Bencic (Switzerland) – Veronika Kudermetova (Russia).
