Former Russian tennis player Andrey Olkhovsky shared his expectations from the start of Rafael Nadal at the Australian Open. The first seed of the tournament at the start of the tournament will play with Briton Jack Draper.
– I think this is not the best opponent for Nadal. Draper has options to move on. Tall, active. Let’s see how he can handle the excitement, because the arena in Melbourne is bigger than the stadium in Adelaide. Feelings are completely different when you go to the big court.
Nadal is already used to this, of course. He’s on the big courts for a lot of matches, and for Draper this will be one of the first such big events. Play in front of a large crowd against Nadal at the Australian Open. How can he deal with anxiety? If it works, then there are options. According to the game, he can resist, – quotes the words of Olkhovsky “Gazeta.Ru”.
