Olkhovsky believes in the successful start of Russian tennis players at the Australian Open

Former Russian tennis player Andrei Olkhovsky expressed the opinion that Russian tennis players are able to successfully start at the Australian Open.
Daniil Medvedev starts the tournament with a match against American Marcos Giron. Karen Khachanov will play Spaniard Bernabé Zapata-Miralles. Andrey Rublev will start the tournament with a match with the representative of Austria Dominik Thiem, Aslan Karatsev will play with Grigor Dimitrov from Bulgaria. Roman Safiullin got Australian Nick Kyrios as rivals.
– In my opinion, the grid is not bad, based on what could be. In any case, Karen is the favorite in the first round. Medvedev is also quite all right on the grid. Rublev’s first round is quite difficult, but he is also my favorite.

Russian Karen Khachanov moved from 18th to 17th place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.
The best among Russians remains Daniil Medvedev, located in 13th place, Andrei Rublev is 16th. There have been no changes in the top ten rankings: Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is in the lead, Italian Jannik Sinner is second, and German representative Alexander Zverev is in third.
