Kotov failed to reach the second round of the Australian Open
Pavel Kotov completed his performance at the Australian Open in singles.
The Russian tennis player lost to the Dutchman Tallon Grikspur in the first round of the tournament.
Tennis players spent 2 hours and 11 minutes on the court during which Kotov filed six times right through, giving up two games on his serve.
Kotov and Grikspur played the third face-to-face match of their career, two of which were won by the Dutchman.
In the next round, Grikspur will play compatriot Botik van de Zandschulp.
