Pavlyuchenkova devastatingly lost at the start of the Australian Open, Aleksandrova advanced to the second round

Russian tennis players Ekaterina Alexandrova and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova started at the Australian Open.
It took Alexandrova less than an hour to beat Isaline Bonaventure from Belgium. Ekaterina won in two games and in the next round she will play American Taylor Townsend.
Pavlyuchenkova was unable to resist the Italian Camila Giorgi. The Russian woman won only one game in 57 minutes of the match.
