“All of Europe already understands that there is no life without Russia” – Kamelzon
Honored coach of Russia Vladimir Kamelzon believes that the athletes have nothing to do with the decision of the Australian Tennis Federation to ban fans from bringing the flags of Russia and Belarus to Australian Open matches.
“I am an old-fashioned person. I was told that I should not talk about politics, engage in it. Therefore, I think that this is entirely the work of the organizers. Athletes have nothing to do with it. Spectators who sympathize with Russia brought these flags to the stands. Are they the only ones who have a positive attitude towards our country? All of Europe already understands that there is no life without Russia, Kamelzon told RT.
Russian flags were seen during the first round match between Ukrainian Ekaterina Beindl and Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, as well as during the duel between Daniil Medvedev and American Marcos Giron.
