Olkhovsky called the expected victory of Kudermetova and Alexandrova in the first round of the Australian Open

The good start of the Russians Veronika Kudermetova and Ekaterina Alexandrova at the Australian Open is encouraging, said Andrey Olkhovsky, winner of two Grand Slam tournaments in mixed doubles.
In the first round, Kudermetova (9) defeated the representative of Belgium, Marina Zanevskaya, with a score of 6:2, 7:6 (7:4). Alexandrova (19) beat another Belgian, Isaline Bonaventure, 6:2, 6:1.
– Kudermetova and Aleksandrova – well done. It was confident and expected. We expected these victories. A good start always inspires optimism, and we can expect good results in the future, – Olkhovsky told the “Championship”.
