Gracheva did not let the first racket of Russia Kasatkin into the second round of the Australian Open
Russian tennis player Varvara Gracheva defeated compatriot Daria Kasatkina in the first round match of the Australian Open.
The meeting lasted a little less than an hour and ended with the score 6:1, 6:1.
Gracheva chalked up two double faults, Kasatkina – three. Gracheva converted six break points out of 10, Kasatkina one out of four.
In the second round, Gracheva will face Lucrezia Stefanini from Italy.
