Tsitsipas: Monday morning against Alice at the Australian Open
Stefanos Tsitsipas’ run at the Australian Open begins on Monday morning (16 January, not before 10 a.m., Eurosport) with his first opponent Quentin Alis.
Stefanos Tsitsipas enters the Australian Open fight on Monday morning with the aim of going as far as possible in the first Grand Slam of the year.
The first opponent of the fourth in the world rankings is the Frenchman Quentin Allis (January 16, not before 10 a.m., Eurosport, LIVE from Sportish). The 26-year-old tennis player is ranked 64th and has not made it past the second round of any major.
In Australia he reached the second round in his first year in the main draw (2016) and in the rest he reached the first round.
Tsitsipas and Alis have never met on the ATP Tour. Instead, they made a single appearance at the Quimper tournament in 2018, where the Frenchman won 2-1 sets in the semi-finals of the tournament.
