“The match between Medvedev and Korda will be one of the main posters of tomorrow” – Selivanenko
Alexei Selivanenko, Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF), told RB Sport about the high interest in the Australian Open third round match between Russian Daniil Medvedev and American Sebastian Korda.
– Daniil’s match with Sebastian is of great interest to everyone. Korda has always been regarded as one of the potential leaders of the next generation in the circle of specialists, now he is on the rise. In a match with Novak Djokovic at the beginning of the year, he showed that he was ready to fight today’s leaders. Both Daniil and Sebastian play spectacular tennis, this match will be one of the main posters of tomorrow, – said Selivanenko.
The match between Medvedev and Korda will take place on January 20. The opponents had only one face-to-face meeting, which the Russian won with a score of 2-1 (4:6, 6:1, 6:3).
