“Korda is in great shape, he can give Medvedev serious problems” – Vesnina
Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev should be wary of American Sebastian Korda, who is now in good shape, says 2016 Olympic champion Elena Vesnina.
World No. 8 Medvedev will play against Korda (world number 31) in the third round of the Australian Open.
“Korda could give Medvedev serious problems. A very dangerous opponent! The American is in great shape. A week ago, he played a chic match against Djokovic, where he was close to victory. Daniil needs to show his best tennis – it won’t be easy for sure. I’m not at all sure that the match will end in three sets. The fight will be very serious. In the third round of the Australian Open, it doesn’t happen otherwise, Vesnina said to the Championship.
