Snyder – Sakkari 1-2: Maria qualified for the third round of the Australian Open with a break

The special conditions created by the indoor competition, combined with the extremely aggressive play of the 18-year-old Russian (No. 106 in the world) made it difficult for Sack, but she found a way to produce a great performance throughout the competition .
The match: The start of the race belonged to Diana Snyder. The 18-year-old Russian took advantage of Sakkari’s nervous start, made the quick break and then redeemed it to make it 3-0.

Snyder continued to play aggressively, earning the break in the seventh game. But Sack responded with the same coin in the next game and then served to close the set.
This time it was the turn of the 18-year-old Russian to express the opposite opinion after staying alive with a new fracture. However, the set ended in Sakkari, who won it 7-5 on her third break of the set.
In the third set, the first break was delayed by two games. In the fourth in particular, Sakkari broke her opponent’s serve to take a 3-1 lead. The Russian responded with the same coin, but the 27-year-old Greek did the same and then held to take a 5-2 lead.
