KREICHIKOVA beating Kalinina: “I think I played very confidently”
27-year-old Barbora Kreychikova commented on the victory over Ukrainian Angelina Kalinina in the third round of the Australian Open. We remember that a Brno native won in two sets – 6:2, 6:3.
“The first three games were very even and I’m glad they’re all behind me. I tried to hit my shots from there, tried to stay aggressive and just started to respond well, serve well and move really well. In general, I think I played very confidently today.
I like to play in midfield and big arenas, I can always squeeze a little bit more of myself. I really like it and I want to reach a level where I can play the first rounds on such courts. This is the main goal, ”admitted Barbora Kreychikova.
