“Rublev is strong enough to defeat Evans, he “fired up” after two defeats at the start of the season” – Chesnokov
Andrey Rublev has gained confidence and has the strength to defeat Briton Daniel Evans at the Australian Open, Andrey Chesnokov, finalist of the 1995 Davis Cup, told RB Sport.
Evans has been on the ATP Tour for a very long time. He confidently beat Chardy in the last match. But Chardy has his first tournament in a year and a half, he is great that he returned and was able to even win the match. But Evans’ victory was natural.
I think that Rublev can beat Evans. I see that Rublev “fired up” after two defeats at the start of the season. He got in shape, gained confidence in the game, – said Chesnokov.
The match between Andrei Rublev and Dan Evans in the third round of the Australian Open will take place on Saturday, January 21.
