17-year-old Czech advances to fourth round at Australian Open
17 year old Czech Linda Frugvirtova (No. 82 WTA) reached the fourth round of the Australian Open.
In the third round match, she defeated her compatriot Marketa Vondrousova (#86 WTA), who had previously knocked down the world’s second racket.

Note that at the end of the match, Vondrousova almost did not move due to hip problems.
Frugvirtova will play for the first time in the 1/8 final of the Grand Slam tournament, her opponent at this stage will be Donna Vekic from Croatia (64 WTA).
