Cuaco – Djokovic 1-3: The “trapped” Nole qualified after a three-hour battle

Novak Djokovic prevailed 3-1 in a set against Enzo Quako (1: 6, 7: 6, 2: 6, 0: 6) and advanced to the next round of the Australian Open in an exciting match.

Novak Djokovic (World No. 5) did his duty and defeated Enzo Cuaco (World No. 191) in the second round of the Australian Open by sets 3-1 (1-6 7-6 2-6 0 -). 6) and moves on to the Australian Grand Slam.

The game lasted at least three hours as there were two stoppages due to injury. First, the French tennis player smashed his ankle while Djokovic felt discomfort in his left thigh in set number two and retired to the dressing room for a few minutes to bandage the spot where he was feeling uncomfortable.

That wasn’t the only stoppage as the Serbian superstar also complained to the referee about a fan who bothered him from the first point.

The Serbian tennis player easily won the first set 6-1, but in the second set Kwakot turned up the heat and equalized 1-1 in the tie-break. But “Nole” woke up, hit some nice shots and easily won the next two sets (2-6, 0-6) to advance to the next round.
