Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev believed in himself to the end in a match with Dane Holger Rune, and luck rewarded him, said Alexei Selivanenko, Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF).
– A dizzying match that gave pleasure to all tennis fans, where everything was decided on the last balls of the tie-break in the decisive set. Andrey during the match, if you look at the statistics, was better in all key indicators.

The next opponent of the Russian in the tournament will be the winner of the confrontation between Serb Novak Djokovic and Australian Alex De Minor.

Russian Karen Khachanov moved from 18th to 17th place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.
The best among Russians remains Daniil Medvedev, located in 13th place, Andrei Rublev is 16th. There have been no changes in the top ten rankings: Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is in the lead, Italian Jannik Sinner is second, and German representative Alexander Zverev is in third.
