The prize money secured by Tsitsipas and the data for the world rankings
Stefanos Tsitsipas’ qualification for the quarterfinals of the Australian Open secured him a sizable amount while data on his position in the world rankings is still fluid.
Stefanos Tsitsipas is through to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open and still has a long way to go to reach the end of the flagpole.
The world No. 4 has already secured a sizable amount, which can still be significantly increased. Steph will receive at least 344,939 euros and if he qualifies for the semi-finals, this amount will increase 574,639 euros.
In terms of world rankings, things are still going a little smoothly. Data Tsitsipas will remain in the top 5, however, he can be found from 1 to 5.
He will climb to the top if he conquers them, while his presence in the final will ensure him second place if he doesn’t face Novak Djokovic.
However, his original goal is almost reached and he was nothing but repeating last year’s course at least to the semifinals. Which is a win away from.
After the quarterfinals we will have a clearer picture where we will analyze all possible scenarios.
