Australian Open’s first semi-finalist revealed
Current Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina (#25 WTA) reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open.
In the 1/4 final match, Kazakhstani tennis player defeated Latvian Alena Ostapenko (#17 WTA) in two sets.

Ostapenko reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Major for the first time this year.
Rybakina reached the semi-finals of the Grand Slam tournament for the second time. She had never gone beyond the third lap in Melbourne before.
Elena, who had previously knocked down the world’s first racket, will face Jessica Pegula or Victoria Azarenka in the next round.
