Australian Open: Djokovic knocks out De Minor and reaches the quarterfinals

Novak Djokovic prevailed against De Minor, won 3-0 sets and reached the semifinals of the Australian Open.

Novak Djokovic has reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. Nole had no trouble against Alex De Minor, winning the set 3-0 to progress.

The legendary Serbian tennis player pressed from the start and was determined not to leave the Australian any room for a reaction. Alex De Minor managed to overtake the Serb in the first set until the fourth game. From there it was just four more before Djokovic unceremoniously finished the set 6-2.

The series ended in 9th place for the Serb, who went 5-0 up to finish the second set 6-1.

The picture was similar in the third set as Novak Djokovic completely controlled the game to go 6-2 to seal his 13th Australian Open quarterfinal presence.

There he meets Rublev, who won Rune’s set 3-2 after a long duel.
