President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpischev told KP Sport about the difficulties of Russian young tennis players participating in international tournaments.
– Now in the world tour there are fifteen 18-19-year-old good players.
– Do we have someone on the way, who is 18-19 years old?
“We have a lot of talented people. Last year we won 580 tournaments at different ages. So there are people. The only question is where they can play.
Is it difficult for young people to go to international tournaments now?
– Visas, travel – all this, on the one hand, reduces the number of training days, and on the other hand, causes more problems with moving. Hence a lot of loss.
