Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Czech Jiri Legechka in the ¼ final of the Australian Open.
The meeting lasted 2 hours 17 minutes and ended with the score 6:3, 7:6 (7:2), 6:4 in favor of the Greek. On account of Tsitsipas nine innings right through, he made a double fault twice. The Greek managed to realize two break points out of six.
In the ½ finals, Tsitsipas will play with Russian Karen Khachanov.
