“They are clinging to us all the time now” – Tarpishchev on the demand to fine Khachanov

President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishchev urged not to pay attention to calls to fine the Russian Karen Khachanov for supporting the unrecognized Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic).
Khachanov, after reaching the 1/8 finals of the Australian Open, wrote on the camera: “Artsakh, hold on!!!” (“Artsakh, stay strong!!!”). The Azerbaijan Tennis Federation demanded from the International Tennis Federation to punish the Russian tennis player.
– Yes, all this is nonsense, do not pay attention. His statements… Now they cling to us all the time. You don’t have to give a reason just that’s all, ”Tarpischev told KP Sport.
