The FTR spoke about the expectations from the match between Khachanov and Tsitsipas at the Australian Open
Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) Alexei Selivanenko admitted to RB Sport that he expects a beautiful game from the Australian Open semi-finals between Russian Karen Khachanov and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.
– The semi-final of the Grand Slam tournament is always an event in the career of any player. Stefanos and Karen have their own recognizable style of play, both of them are well aware of the features of each other’s game. Expectations from such meetings are a beautiful game in which the audience will see everything for which they love tennis so much.
In personal meetings, the score is in favor of Tsitsipas? These numbers lose their meaning when the match starts. Everything is decided on the court at a particular moment in time and depends only on who will be better and luckier in this particular fight,” Selivanenko noted.
The match will take place on January 27th. The score in personal meetings is 5:1 in favor of Tsitsipas.
