Sobolenko and Lynette win Australian Open quarter-finals

Magda Lynette and Arina Sobolenko became rivals in the semi-finals of the Australian Open.

The representative of Poland, Linett, defeated Karolina Plishkova from the Czech Republic in the quarterfinals in two games.

Belarusian Sobolenko in her match in two games beat Croatian Donna Vekic.

Sobolenko for the first time in her career made it to the semi-finals of the Australian Open.

Another semi-final pair of the tournament was made up of Belarusian Victoria Azarenka and representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina.
