Russian tennis players who played at the Australian Open in 2023 will receive $3.2 million (220 million rubles), according to Metaratings.ru.
It is noted that this amount includes payments not only for single tournaments, but also bonuses for performances in doubles competitions and for qualifying for the Australian Open, which took place the week before the start of the main draw.
Men earned 1.47 million dollars, women – 1.77 million. Ekaterina Alexandrova earned the most among the girls – 172 thousand dollars. She reached the third round of the singles tournament and was eliminated in the first round of the doubles event. In men, Karen Khachanov, who reached the semi-finals, earned the most – 655 thousand dollars. Ex-first racket of the world Daniil Medvedev will receive from the organizers 394 thousand dollars before tax.
