Stefanos Tsitsipas qualified for his first final at the Australian Open, making history by becoming the youngest finalist at the tournament since 2011.

Stefanos Tsitsipas (No.4) qualified for his first final at the Australian Open and made history, both for Greek tennis and for the world.

Our 24-year-old champion ‘sealed’ his ticket to the 2nd Major final of his life after defeating Karen Khachanov in the semis, breaking a record he had held in Melbourne since 2011.

More specifically, at the age of 24 years and five months, Tsitsipas became the tournament’s youngest finalist in the last 12 years.

After Novak Djokovic’s magnificent final against Andy Murray in 2011, both of which were younger than Tsitsipas’ current age, the No. 3 on the board was the youngest to qualify for the AO Match title.
