Olympic champion 2016 Elena Vesnina believes that both finalists of the Australian Open – Belarusian tennis player Arina Sobolenko and representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina – were worthy of the title.

Sobolenko became the winner of the Australian Open, beating Rybakina 4:6, 6:3, 6:4. The match lasted 2 hours and 28 minutes. For 24-year-old Sobolenko, this is the first Grand Slam singles title in her career.
