Ukrainian tennis player Ivanna Yastremskaya He received a wild card for the qualifying tournament from the organizers of the WTA 250 tournament in Hua Hin.
Thus, 16-year-old Ivanna can debut in singles on a professional level. Previously, the Ukrainian played three matches in pairs in WTA tournaments. She played for Lyon (WTA 250), Indian Wells (WTA 1000) and Rouen (WTA 125) with her sister Dayana. In all duels the sisters were defeated.
In the ITF’s singles youth tour, Ivanna Yastremska played in four home tournaments (Rivne, Irpen, Lviv and Chornomorsk) in 2021 alone.
The competitions in Hua Hin will begin next week. The qualifying matches will begin on Saturday. Dayana starts at Yastremskaya base and has already managed to enjoy the Thai nature.
